Evaluation of Laboratory Instruments

At our Nutfield site we undertake evaluation of laboratory instruments to test their suitability for use in the brewing industry. Most recently, for example, this involved evaluation of the NucleoCounter® YC-100, an instrument used for counting and determining the viability of yeast cells.
The results of this evaluation were reported in a members’ publication, available from the Nutfield site.We welcome suggestions from both instrument users and manufacturers for laboratory equipment relevant to the brewing sector to assess, and work with the manufacturer to arrange a suitable project.
