We offer microbiology and consumer and sensory science consultancy services, including: analytical testing, safety and spoilage, molecular and microbiology methods, emerging microbiology, brewing microbiology research, industrial heat process microbiology, quality lab audit, and sensory science

Quality & Media Team

You will be supporting a busy Quality and Microbiology Media Team within the wider microbiology department: processing used glassware and removing low levels of microbiological waste. This team is important to help deliver provide the equipment and media to the Microbiology teams, to enable them to deliver consultancy and projects.

Position

Sterilise and wash up used glassware and other equipment
Make deliveries to and from laboratories and ‘Goods In’ to move stock
Help with preparing microbiology media
Basic housekeeping duties and removing waste from the team
Following set processes and procedures

Requirements

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team player, who can work accurately to specified timeframes.
We are looking for someone to work 15-20 hours per week, over 5 days, we can consider school hour
