​Our Sales, Marketing, Training & Membership department oversee all the commercial elements for our organisation: liaising and supporting our technical functions with marketing campaigns, market research, developing key accounts, overall strategy and ensuring our members have added value through our services and consultancy.

We also provide a wide range of training courses from introductions into microbiology, Food Science & Technology, Thermal Processing etc to advanced HACCP and international regulatory courses.

Marketing

​In this newly created role, you will develop marketing communications that will engage clients and prospects through content designed to convert them into leads and customers for our services.

This could include print, social media, website content (articles, blogs, white papers plus more) and email. There are four roles available, with each being aligned to either Communications & PR, Inbound Marketing or Digital Marketing, but with the flexibility to work across disciplines as workloads dictate, offering fantastic development opportunities.

Position

  • ​Support the creation, planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging SEO, social, inbound marketing, email, and mail/print campaigns
  • Responsible for writing content for a variety of different marketing and communication channels, ensuring brand, tone of voice and search optimisaton
  • Able to come up with creative content ideas and develop them into publish-ready content for multiple channels
  • Undertake the creation of visually engaging email communications, that combines strong content with graphics and imagery, and take responsibility for their broadcast
  • Develop high-quality content for social media, including written, graphic and video, and take responsibility for both posting it and following up on engagements and replies
  • Write copy for editorial contribution to media, including press releases, and respond to media enquiries
  • Proactively support the development of internal communications activity
  • Able to proofread to a good standard

Requirements

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills are essential for this role
  • Degree in marketing and/or CIM qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B marketing with a content focus
  • Experience working across a variety of content formats and channels
  • Experience in producing conversion-driven copy for landing pages
  • Excellent English content writing and communication skills are a must-have
