We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits

Analytical Services (Chemistry)

Campden BRI support our members (food & drink manufacturers) with a range of analytical chemistry testing services.Our members and clients send in samples, which we book in, log, store, prepare and then dispose of once testing is completed.

We have a permanent opportunity to start your career within our Analytical Chemistry laboratories, supporting our Chromatography team at Campden BRI!

We're looking to hire multiple Technicians to start their career in science!

Position

Receive and logging in samples on our LIMS system
Preparing samples & storing
Ad hoc lab based and admin duties
Some manual handling of all activities relating to sample reception and goods in including receiving deliveries and unpacking samples, shipping of parcels/post
Working as part of a team
Assisting the Chromatography team in maintaining an efficient workflow through the laboratory
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas including sample disposal

Requirements

Enthusiastic about science
Computer literate
Good written and verbal communication skills
Practically minded and able to work in a team
Good organisational skills in managing own workload
Ability to adapt and change between different tasks/activities as time permits
