Regulatory Affairs

Position

  • ​You will support the provision of safe, honestly-marketed food is a legal, commercial and moral imperative.
  • You will learn food legislation for the UK and global markets, labbelling requirements and much more!
  • Develop, maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments.
  • Answer questions from members, other clients and colleagues.
  • Contribute to Campden BRI scheduled legislation courses, RA publications and events.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.
  • Recommend and implement change in services, products and systems.
  • Develop self to enhance performance and professionalism.

Requirements

  • ​Food Science graduate (or related subject) predicted classification 2:1 (or equivalent).
  • Understanding / knowledge of food law in relation to commercial, enforcement or policy setting would be an advantage.
  • Ideally you’ll have had some previous experience within food regulatory affairs.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstratable skills in report writing and data analysis.
  • Effective time management skills relating to effective delivery and business practices.
  • A keen interest and passion in the food industry.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Naturally inquisitive and passionate about technical excellence.
  • Can work with a level of autonomy, as well as within a team.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Be able to attend monthly meetings at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.

  • Working hours- Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).
