We're looking for the right candidate to start in Summer 2024!

Position

You will support the provision of safe, honestly-marketed food is a legal, commercial and moral imperative.
You will learn food legislation for the UK and global markets, labbelling requirements and much more!
Develop, maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments.
Answer questions from members, other clients and colleagues.
Contribute to Campden BRI scheduled legislation courses, RA publications and events.
Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.
Recommend and implement change in services, products and systems.
Develop self to enhance performance and professionalism.

Requirements

Food Science graduate (or related subject) predicted classification 2:1 (or equivalent).
Understanding / knowledge of food law in relation to commercial, enforcement or policy setting would be an advantage.
Ideally you’ll have had some previous experience within food regulatory affairs.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstratable skills in report writing and data analysis.
Effective time management skills relating to effective delivery and business practices.
A keen interest and passion in the food industry.
Self-driven and motivated.
Naturally inquisitive and passionate about technical excellence.
Can work with a level of autonomy, as well as within a team.
Good working knowledge of MS Office.
Be able to attend monthly meetings at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.

Benefits

This role is remote based, with travel required once per month to our site at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
Working hours- Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).
