Q I’m going abroad, can you tell me whether I will need a Test to Release PCR test?
The situation around testing for arrivals to the UK is fluid and constantly changing, so on that basis we are not able to give guidance. We recommend that all potential customers review the official Government information on Test to Release at:
UK guidance on Test to Release
Q What sort of tests do you provide?
For outgoing travellers we provide the RT-PCR test for Fit to Fly & Travel. For returning travellers we provide
Test to Release
(Day 5) testing which allows you to end quarantining early if you get a negative result.
We do not provide Day 2 & 8 testing.
Q When do I need to take the test?
It is your responsibility to check the regulations required for the country you will be visiting. Please ensure the
analysis date you select is suitable for the timeframe for a test result.
Q Where do I return my completed test?
Where you collected the test from within Campden BRI’s reception area is a dedicated deposit box. The deposit box is
regularly checked by a member of our testing team for returned test, which are then taken away for analysis
Q For the Collect & Drop service, when can I collect my kit(s) from your site?
We will contact you to arrange the best time for you to collect your kit(s). If you have ordered a kit a few days in
advance, you may wish to come and collect it and take it home with you. If you do this, be sure to take the test within the time window
suitable for the country you will be travelling to. You can then drop off the kit no later than 09:30 on your selected analysis date.
Alternatively, you may wish to come to our site on your selected analysis date first thing in the morning, and take your swab sample
in your vehicle whilst parked in the visitor’s car park. You just need to drop it off in our deposit box located in the Reception
area before 09:30. Reception is open from 08:00 in the morning.
Q Do you analyse swabs on a weekend?
Not currently. We can provide analysis of swabs Monday to Friday.
Q What if I have to change the date of my test?
Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
with the details of the change if you have booked a test and you need to change your analysis date. We will not charge for this
unless you need to take your test earlier than your original analysis date (e.g. you need to take your test the following day).
Q Can I
cancel an order I made?
You have the right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer
Contracts Regulations to cancel the service.
- If you cancel before the sample kit has been collected/despatched you will be entitled to a full refund
- If you cancel once the sample kit has been collected/despatched we will be unable to use that kit for any other customer so
you will be refunded the price of your test less a deduction for the cost of the sample kit, administration fee of £20 and any
applicable courier fees.
- If you cancel once you have returned your sample to us we will be unable to refund any part of your payment
- All cancellations must be notified to email@example.com
Q When can I expect to receive my results, and how will they arrive?
We aim to send your results to you on the same day as your selected analysis date (Usually by 5-6pm). A PDF of the
report will be sent to the e-mail you provide on the Personal Details Form which is included in the kit. We cannot guarantee earlier
Q I will not be flying, but I will be taking a ferry /train
/car etc. Will the test report be suitable for these other means of travel?
The test report is suitable for any means of travel and will be titled “Fit-to-Fly & Travel Certificate”. If you need
your passport number to be included, please add this to the personal details form and we will include it in your test report.
Q The country I am wanting to visit needs a medical
professional or Doctor to administer the test with their signature. Can you provide this?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide this service.
Q I have just been vaccinated. Will this affect my result?
The test will only detect if you have virus particles in your throat or nose at the time the test was taken. The vaccine
will not therefore affect any test result.
