Diet and Health - Member Interest Group

As the food and drink industry responds to the various pressures and opportunities it is presented with, the result will be a change to the nutritive content of food and beverage. The challenge faced by the industry is to ensure that any changes have a positive impact on the health of their consumers. This MIG is designed to explore the impact of changes in production on the final product, and in turn on the health of the consumer. The aim of this MIG is to provide a collaborative environment in which challenges and solutions can be discussed. It is also an ideal forum for networking, horizon-scanning, identifying gaps in knowledge and addressing them, as well as keeping up to date with legislation, latest research, and other upcoming topics.
