Quality and safety of cereal–based products and ingredients for the food and brewing industry
An ingredient functionality approach to shelf-life extension of foods


Although primarily focussed on the activities of the baking and cereal processing departments, this group, comprising plant breeders, millers, bakers, allied traders and retailers, interacts with the full range of Campden BRI activities. It is a major forum for the discussion of cereals research and related services at Campden BRI and elsewhere, as described in its Principal Areas of Interest


Well-established industry proficiency schemes are coordinated by the Cereals and Cereal Applications Testing Working Group , which also oversees the evaluation of new cereal-testing instruments and validation of new methods.
