Training and development - We are committed to staff training and development, so that staff have the necessary skills to support their job role and business needs. We run a staff academy which delivers courses on a wide range of topics (including IT, communication and management skills) and operate personal development plans tailored to individual staff needs (e.g. specific areas of science and technology or other specialist skills). We have supported a number of staff through a wide range of day-release and other part-time educational assistance up to degree and PhD level.
