We are seeking a proactive individual to join our diverse team and support our specialists in the development and implementation of food and drink related projects.

As a Food Technologist/Graduate, you'll have the chance to collaborate with multiple teams across various categories, including bakery, beverages, meat products, thermal and non-thermal processing, and ready meals.


Position

  • Executing technical food and beverage related projects / research, much of which will be practical work in our pilot plant and milling facilities.
  • This is a very hands-on role working as a team requiring an ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines. 
  • Developing knowledge of a huge range of equipment to include maintenance and records.
  • Collecting project data and preparing client reports.
  • In time, providing support to practical delivery on external/internal training courses.
  • Assisting in health & safety, hygiene, good manufacturing activities.
  • As experience develops there will be more scope to expand the role in this area including proposal writing.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years Industrial Food Manufacturing experience or a Degree in Food Science & Nutrition, Food Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • Good verbal &written communication skills.
  • A passion in food and interest in food processing equipment.
  • A strong team player with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Effective time management skills relating to effective delivery and business practices.
  • Full UK/EU driving license.
  • IT literate.
