Regulatory Affairs

Position

To maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments within the EU and French speaking markets.
To answer questions from members, other clients and colleagues on the content, application and interpretation of the above.
To direct a scheduled Campden BRI legislation course.
To develop and contribute to RA publications and events.
To initiate new business and deliver contract services on time and within budget.
To contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.
To develop self to enhance performance and professionalism.
To undertake such other duties as may, from time to time, reasonably be required by line manager.

Requirements

Fluency in French, with ability to read and write to a professional level.
Graduate level qualification(s) in science, law or related subjects.
Excellent attention to detail, experience in interrogation and interpretation of regulatory and technical documents.
Proven experience to a senior level with knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement, consultancy or policy setting.
Competency in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, industry experts and Regulatory bodies on scientific, technical, and regulatory developments.
Well-developed communication skills – upwards, downwards and outwards, training preparation delivery and presentation skills.

Additional information:

This role is remote based, with travel required once per month to our site at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.

Working hours- Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).
