Are you passionate about Chemistry with a keen interest in the world of wine?

Are you looking for a laboratory internship within analytical chemistry?

Our lab is based in Guildford, Surrey and our growing team offer wine consultancy services to the UK & Global wine industries (winemakers, wineries, wine importers and retailers) including:

· Wine analysis

· Bespoke analysis methods

· Pre and post bottling packages

· Comprehensive taint investigation service

· Wine consultancy

Position

Conduct analysis of wine samples using wet chemistry techniques.
Learn new analytical chemistry techniques.
Calibration, maintenance and daily monitoring of laboratory equipment.
Interpret data and create reports.
Maintain full and up to date record upholding to quality standards.
General housekeeping

Requirements

Working towards a degree in Chemistry or a postgraduate with a chemistry degree.
Immediately available or available start of May 2024.
Excellent organisation and communication skills (written and verbal).
Able to work well in a team.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Must live near Guildford (we’re based in the Surrey Research Park and have free parking/ free shuttle buses from the train station)

Additional information:

Working hours- Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).
