Global Food Safety & Quality Team

Join our expert team at Campden BRI, delivering high-impact consultancy services to clients across the food industry. This role blends technical excellence with client-facing delivery, offering a dynamic mix of research, training, and strategic support.

Position

Lead the technical delivery of contract consultancy projects, ensuring outcomes meet agreed service levels and client expectations.
Support business development through client engagement, proposal input, and external marketing activities.
Design and deliver tailored training programmes both at Campden BRI and on-site at client locations.
Provide expert responses to technical enquiries on food hygiene and safety, offering actionable insights and solutions.

Requirements

We’re looking for a confident communicator and subject matter expert who thrives in a client-focused environment:

Broad technical knowledge of food science and technology across multiple sectors.
Proven experience in food manufacturing, quality management, or regulatory enforcement.
Familiarity with at least one industrial food safety management standard (e.g. BRCGS, FSSC 22000).
Knowledge of HACCP principles.
Trained and experienced in auditing practices.
Strong background in delivering training; Train the Trainer certification preferred.
Excellent communication skills to support consultancy, training, and business development.
Effective project and time management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Full UK/EU driving licence.
IT literate, with proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools.

Additional information:

This consultancy role involves regular travel to client sites across the UK and Europe. When not travelling, the successful candidate will be based at our Chipping Campden site 2–3 days per week.
