BS EN ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System Requirements

The 9001 standard is primarily concerned with client satisfaction and certification so it provides an assurance of an organisations ability to consistently meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. Campden BRI (Chipping Campden Limited and Campden BRI - Nutfield) has been certified by an accredited certification body as compliant with the requirements of the standard since 1996. BS EN ISO IEC 17025:2017 - General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories

The Campden BRI group companies listed are both accredited in accordance with the recognised International Standard ISO17025:2017 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope of methods, specific to each site, as detailed in the schedules of accreditation bearing the testing laboratory number. Campden BRI (Chipping Campden) Limited is a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 1079. Campden BRI (Nutfield) is a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 1207.

Official Recognition – ORETO

Regulation EC No 1107/2009 concerns the placing of plant protection products on the market and requires that the tests and analyses required to demonstrate the efficacy of plant protection products must be carried out by 'Official' or 'Officially Recognised' efficacy testing organisations. Efficacy tests and analyses include field, glasshouse or laboratory trials and tests to determine the effectiveness and crop safety of plant protection products, plus its safety to other crops, plants and beneficial organisms.

Campden BRI (Chipping Campden) and Campden BRI (Nutfield) are both registered with the Chemicals Regulation Directorate (a Directorate of the Health and Safety Executive) as 'Officially Recognised' and competent to carry out efficacy trials/tests in the United Kingdom. The scope of the certification relates to specified field, storage, processing and taint test trials within the categories of Agriculture/Horticulture and Stored Crops.
