Microbiology

Are you looking to gain laboratory experience over the summer? We're looking for several people to help support the busy summer holiday months. If you're looking to widen your science/ laboratory skills, this could be a great opportunity for you!!

You will be supporting the Microbiology teams, who offer an ISO17025 accredited testing services for a full range of pathogens and spoilage organisms to a wide range of external and internal clients in the Food & drink industry.

Position

Microbiological testing of samples
Sample Receipt Steward
Maintain records in accordance with Quality systems
Main laboratory facilities and equipment, including performing housekeeping duties in both all laboratories areas
Follow procedures

Requirements

Enthusiastic, proactive team player
Work accurately within specified time frames
An interest in science- ideally A level in Biology
Available within 1 week ideally
Available for 2 months
