Product Innovation

Calling all degree students studying Food Science/Technology-we are looking to offer a paid internship for 12 months to a future graduate for their placement year, providing them with brilliant on the job experience within our Product Innovation Teams.

You will support the delivery of food & drink related projects resulting in innovative, high quality and cost-effective solutions to the food industry and internal clients.  The job will primarily involve working within Campden BRI’s pilot plant area and kitchens, as well as a minority of desk-based activities.

Position

    • Providing practical input to the execution of client work, a variety of contract and research projects
    • Training other pilot plant users in the correct use of equipment
    • Participation in department/business wide projects
    • Assisting in health & safety, hygiene, good manufacturing activities

    Requirements

    Please note this role is applicable for students who are looking for a placement year during their degree.

    • Level 3 qualifications (e.g. A Levels, level 3 NVQ)
    • Practical skills in operating equipment/apparatus/instrumentation would be an advantage
    • Experience working within a GMP or hygienic environment would be an advantage
    • Ability to record varied information accurately
    • Generally IT literate
