Analytical Services

We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits

Food Composition

You’ll work as part of the wider team, covering elements of analytical chemistry and learning laboratory skills. The Food Composition team analysis food & drink to analysis and provide nutritional values.

We are looking for a summer temp for 2-3 months to help support the team.

Position

General Lab processes
Routine analysis of foodstuffs and associated materials using a variety of methods
Updating QC records, basic maintenance and checks of laboratory equipment
Preparation and administration of samples

Requirements

A Levels or equivalent or relevant experience
Ability to undertake routine analytical testing with minimum supervision
Good organisational skills in managing own workload
Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities
