Benefits of attending

A sensory panel requires a considerable effort to maintain and run which can be problematic in busy breweries. This on-site course is designed to work with customers to achieve the best results possible with their panels.

Course content

This sensory panel training will be run on site, and so the content can be customised according to the customer's wishes. Typical components include:

  • Review of the tasting area and methods of presenting beers
  • Maintaining tasting records
  • Methods for assessment of the panel
  • Handling training as an ongoing task
  • Work with the panel on brand characterisation

This course may be extended to include components from other related sensory courses such as taint identification or beer and food matching.
