What you’ll be doing

Passionate about food science and ready to put your degree to work in a collaborative environment?


We're looking for a Food Scientist to join our Food and Drink Science Team within the Product Innovation Group at our Chipping Campden site.


  • Managing and undertaking work on behalf of clients, conducting a variety of analysis across a wide range of techniques (65%) 
  • Performing tasks related to quality procedures such as equipment calibration and reviews of documents (10%)
  • Writing reports for contract and research projects, both internally and externally funded (10%)
  • Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to idea generation for food and beverage science and research (10%)
Assisting with the delivery of training courses (5%)

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in food science, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or a similar discipline
  • Experience working within a laboratory environment (preferable)
  • Good communication skills and a keen attitude to learn and develop
  • Experience in data analysis and familiarity with statistical analysis techniques (advantageous)
  • Ability to apply knowledge in new situations and manage small projects independently
