Analytical Services

We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography,  packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of microscopy investigations which can include foreign bodies, screening products for the presence of foreign/extraneous matter, imaging, packaging and bespoke client requests. 

  • Interpret analytical data 
  • Prepare and issue technical reports on investigation
  • Consult with and assist clients with the work required or interpretation of results 
  • Assist with the return of samples and associated activities when required
  • Provide technical support and advice to colleagues if required 
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with departmental policies 
  • To keep neat and orderly records of results and other relevant information


What we’re looking for

  • An investigative mindset 
  • Relevant degree (Forensic Science/Biology/Chemistry)
  • A background in SEM (Scanning electron microscopy) 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Able to commute to Chipping Campden five days a week
  • Own own vehicle and valid UK Driving License
