HACCP team

The HACCP and QMS Section at Campden BRI comprises of a team of food safety management specialists who have significant personal practical experience of working with systems in the food and beverage industry. We are a recognised centre of excellence and a leader in the application of HACCP. Campden BRI has promoted HACCP since the early 1980s and published its first HACCP guidance document in 1987.

We deliver a range of training courses from foundation to advanced levels and work with all sectors of the food and beverage industry. In addition we have worked with clients from associated industries such packaging suppliers, animal feed and pet-food producers. We have helped food business operations to develop and implement effective HACCP systems; this has included the development and promotion of standardised approaches to HACCP across a number of sites. Bespoke training courses have been run for these FBOs around the world. Campden BRI also collaborates with Scheme Owners, organisations that develop and own international and private food safety standards.

We have worked with Competent Authorities in the UK and overseas. For eight years we were involved in the Better Training Safer Food programme for the European Commission.

We use experienced, qualified HACCP tutors; many are lead auditor trained with practical experience of auditing HACCP against the requirements of the Campden BRI HACCP Audit Standard.
