About this course
Campden Learning’s On Demand E-learning bundle provides a comprehensive and engaging introduction to 4 essential topics in food safety and quality management. Who is the course aimed at?
This course bundle is ideal for staff who are new to food safety and quality roles, as well as for operators looking to deepen their understanding, those working in support roles in the food industry, for example procurement, human resources or finance based roles and as a valuable refresher for anyone wanting to revisit the core principles. Each course provides an accessible introduction to essential components of food safety management systems which are applied across the food industry, giving delegates a solid foundation on which to further develop their understanding and progress with a career in food safety and quality.

Will I receive certification for completing the course?
On completion of each course within the bundle, participants will be able to download a Campden BRI accredited Campden Learning certificate for the course. Modules are unlocked as you work through the courses until all are completed. Each module concludes with a knowledge check which you will need to pass to unlock the next module.
On Demand E-learning useful information
- Once purchased the specified learner will have access to the content for a period of 4 months – note access is granted to a dedicated learner and cannot be transferred to another learner.
- Content is accessed via the Campden Learning – Brightspace learning management system; log-in details will be issued on processing of payment.
- Non-members are required to pay online; members can pay online or opt to pay by invoice.

Five sessions covering: an introduction to food safety management; the General Principles of Food Hygiene; preparatory steps; the 7 principles of HACCP; and the importance of communication. - Food fraud and food defence
Three sessions covering: an introduction to food fraud; economically motivated adulteration; and food defence. - Internal auditing
Three sessions covering: an introduction to internal auditing; audit methodology; and audit documentation and non-conformances. - Root cause analysis
Six sessions covering: an introduction to root cause analysis; define the problem; information analysis; identify root cause; improvement implementation; and review.
What learning outcomes should I expect from completing the bundle?
- Gain an overall understanding of essential tools used in food safety management systems and how they can contribute to the production of safe food for consumers, when applied effectively.
- Gain an understanding of why food safety management systems are required and their importance.
- Introduce and name the principles of HACCP as described in the General Principles of Food Hygiene.
- Define Food Fraud and Food Defence and explain their roles in mitigating intentional threats and economically motivated food fraud.
