We have a dedicated Regulatory Affairs team, who offer a valuable and expert advisory service, as we're the leading authority, helping our clients stay compliant with food regulations in more than 80 countries.

What you’ll be doing

We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Advisor Manager to join our home-based team and lead the development of our Regulatory Advisors. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of our core regulatory services, enhancing client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. The role is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel required to Campden BRI, client meetings and industry events.


  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Regulatory Advisors to deliver high-quality regulatory services
  • Managing team performance, resource planning, training and professional development
  • Driving service excellence across core regulatory offerings, including labelling, formulation compliance, regulatory translations and market entry reports
  • Supporting the growth of the regulatory services portfolio through innovation, service enhancements and process improvements
  • Building strong relationships with clients and external partners, preparing proposals and supporting business development activities
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Acting as a trusted regulatory expert, advising clients and colleagues on food legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Leading and supporting regulatory projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Representing Campden BRI at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings
  • Implementing improvements to quality, customer service and operational processes
  • Supporting the adoption of new technologies and modern approaches to enhance service delivery
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory projects align with business priorities

What we’re looking for

  • Degree qualified in science, law or a related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of food law gained within a commercial, enforcement or policy environment
  • Significant experience delivering regulatory consultancy projects within the food and drink sector
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and develop teams
  • Strong project management and commercial awareness, with experience of driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with European and/or international food legislation
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong IT skills and an interest in applying technology to improve ways of working
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering outstanding service
