We have a dedicated Regulatory Affairs team, who offer a valuable and expert advisory service, as we're the leading authority, helping our clients stay compliant with food regulations in more than 80 countries.

What you’ll be doing

We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Advisor Manager to join our home-based team and lead the development of our Regulatory Advisors. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of our core regulatory services, enhancing client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. The role is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel required to Campden BRI, client meetings and industry events.


  • Leading and developing a team of regulatory specialists, supporting both core and specialist regulatory services
  • Identifying and delivering innovation opportunities that support business growth and service expansion
  • Developing new regulatory and nutrition-focused service propositions aligned with industry trends and client needs
  • Building strong relationships with clients, industry bodies and external stakeholders
  • Representing Campden BRI at trade association meetings, conferences and industry events
  • Driving business development activity, preparing proposals and securing new opportunities
  • Supporting marketing initiatives to promote specialist regulatory services
  • Delivering expert consultancy in areas including food legislation, nutrition, sustainability and emerging regulatory requirements
  • Managing specialist projects and publications, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and identifying opportunities arising from innovation, health and sustainability agendas
  • Establishing and improving processes, quality systems and service delivery frameworks
  • Creating a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and growth

What we’re looking for

  • Degree qualified in science, law or a related discipline
  • Extensive food law expertise gained within a commercial, policy or enforcement environment
  • Strong understanding of the food and drink industry and emerging regulatory trends
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven success in business development, revenue growth and delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Experience working with European and/or international legislation
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, innovative and collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement
