Audit being performed 16 April 2018 Press Release

Campden BRI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 technical update seminar

The food and drink industry uses laboratory accreditation to provide confidence in results, ensure food safety and quality as well as legal compliance. The international standard against which laboratories are assessed and accredited, ISO 17025, has been updated. For laboratories to remain accredited, they will need to demonstrate compliance with the new requirements in the updated standard.

Campden BRI’s ISO/IEC 17025:2017 technical update and implication to food and drink laboratories seminar, 26 June, will provide information on the new requirements, including areas of increased testing activities, to help laboratories transition to the revised standard, ISO17025:2017. This seminar will also assist laboratories who are not accredited, but need to demonstrate compliance with the requirements and principles of ISO 17025 to satisfy other certification schemes (e.g. BRC).

This seminar will be of interest to laboratory managers, senior management with overall responsibility for laboratory operations and personnel with responsibility for ensuring quality of laboratory systems.
