Extension of product shelf–life through super chilling
The Meat and poultry MIG was established in 2005 following the success of the Campden BRI Meat Forum (established 2000) and reflecting the requirement for increased Campden BRI research and services in this product sector. The MIG activity is applicable to manufacturers, retailers, packaging and ingredient suppliers, food service providers and any member involved in the meat and poultry chain. MIG interests are wide ranging, from slaughter through to the use of meat and poultry as commodities or as ingredients in added value products.
