Why are we undertaking this project?

A number of changes have been made in the management of hygiene in food production since a guideline was published by Campden BRI in 2008. This includes, for example, the requirements of BRC Food Standard Issue 8 and the US under the Food Safety Modernization Act. A revised guideline will reflect these changes.

What are we doing as part of this project?

This project will provide members with updated guidance on cleaning and disinfection in the manufacturing process based on practical case studies. The updated guidance is being compiled with the close involvement of industry practitioners.
