Joining


We are keen to make joining us as easy as possible. There is no joining fee but you do have to pay an annual membership fee.

To obtain a quotation we just need a few details about your business. Please complete our online Enquiry Form or email Clare or call Clare on +44(0)1386 842125 if you would rather talk it through.

Once we have the necessary information a membership quotation will be issued - by email (unless requested otherwise) and this quotation will be valid for 3 months.

If you are happy to go ahead please let Clare know and she will email you an Application form for you to complete. Once we have this back, signed and method of payment agreed, we can set up your membership. It will, however, only become active once we have received your payment for your membership fee.

Membership fee payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card (not AMEX) or we can send an invoice if you can provide a purchase order number.

Membership will be automatically renewed every year until you let us know that you wish to cancel it. Please note that we require 6 months notice of resignation prior to your renewal date.

What happens next?
You will be sent your joining - instructions by Dawn Woodfin, our Administrator. These will include instructions on registering your email address so that you can access the Member only parts of our website; information about how to contact our experts, your membership certificate and your membership fee invoice if you have not already paid.

You can add as many people as you need to your membership, provided they are based at the sites covered by the membership, as per your membership quotation. You can just email Dawn with your colleagues details and this will then enable them to register, once she has added them to your membership.

If you are a Full Member we will also ask which MIGS (Member Interest Groups) you or your colleagues, would like to belong to.

Our website team will also email you within a few days to ask for permission to use your logo on our Member Zone homepage where we highlight recent members and to offer to link to your own website.

How are Membership Fees calculated?
Full Members' fees are based on a number of factors: location of site's, activities and processes, number of employees, annual revenue turnover.

Associate Members have a fixed Membership Fee on joining and this is only increased if approved by our Council once a year. Please contact Clare for up to date fee rates.
