A flavour of things to come - the Q-TOF has arrived
To ensure that we continue to provide cutting edge facilities
for authenticity testing, analysing product changes over time
and quality benchmarking, we have recently installed an
Accurate Mass Quadrupole Time of Flight Gas
Chromatography Mass Spectrometer. Amongst other things,
this will allow us to quantify trace unknown compounds in
complex matrices at much lower levels. It will significantly
improve efficiency and the range of services we can provide
in the area of instrumental flavour analysis.
This new instrument is creating excitement among both staff
and member companies. We are currently exploring the full
range of new capabilities the Q-TOF will provide. If you have
