Transatlantic exchange competition 18 February 2016 Press Release

Campden BRI launches prestigious transatlantic exchange competition

Campden BRI in conjunction with the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) has launched "The Thesis Video Challenge" - a new competition offering food technology post-graduate students around the world the chance to win an exchange programme.

The winner of "The Thesis Video Challenge" will spend 10 days at Campden BRI, the UK's leading food and drink research organisation to gain insight into the European Food Industry. The winner will have the opportunity to meet industry members and experience each of the company's divisions (science, technology, brewing, and knowledge management), focusing on the most relevant areas of their area of study.

Campden BRI is sponsoring the competition and covering the student's travel costs up to a value of $7,500.

For the chance to win, students need to submit a video of less than three minutes related to original research they are conducting by April 1 2016.

The Thesis Video Challenge is open to IFT student members who are either studying for a Masters or PhD. The winner will be announced at the IFTSA Closing Ceremony during IFT16 in Chicago, Illinois, July 18, 2016.
