Microbiology - routine analysis Aerobic and Anearobic
The presence of microbial contamination in wine can cause problems not only with wine quality but also with package integrity. For routine screening we will filter 100ml of the sample through a membrane, and then grow the micro-organisms present on the membrane on standard media. Results are reported as presence/absence of bacteria or yeast. Please note the bacteria will not be identified by species.
