Gluten free product development is an area which is growing rapidly as the market for goods free-from gluten and specific allergens has increased dramatically in recent years. It is now not only a requirement for a small percentage of the population, but also the choice of a much wider group.
We have accreditation for methods of assessing the gluten content and gluten-free status of raw materials and products. These analytical services are complemented by wider services such as our bakery technologists' expertise in product formulation and our extensive pilot production plant to facilitate the development of gluten-free bakery products such as bread, cake, pastry and biscuits.
Our manufacturing and hygiene specialists can advise on the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice to avoid cross-contamination with gluten-containing materials.
