Beer brand development
The life cycle of many brands is reducing, as beer drinkers become more fashion conscious and experimental. New products can present an opportunity to create a point of difference and earn higher margins. The real successes in recent years have been those products that have been genuinely innovative in substance as well as form.
Our unique approach to NBD combines its expertise in materials, technology and sensory science with specific research strategies. By means of appropriate data collection and analysis techniques Campden BRI offers innovative, targeted and actionable solutions to NBD.
A regional brewer wishing to expand their portfolio faced the decision whether to buy in a current national brand or to develop their own lager brand. A feasibility study conducted by Campden BRI demonstrated the viability of the own-label route. A brand proposition was established, trials conducted and the new brand was successfully launched.
