Avoid condensate not draining from pipes

Control by valves

Steam trapping – Steam Traps

Insulate as much as possible

Including e.g. valves, flanges

Insulation thickness is optimised economically

Cover hot liquid surface e.g. hot well

Target operating velocity for saturated steam is 30-40 m/s
